We are a husband and wife team. Dougal is the Soap Maker and Celia is the Soap Maker’s Wife. It all started when we found modern skincare was causing irritation in our family. After some research we discovered that most commercial skincare is actually a detergent rather than a soap. And the detergent strips your skin of natural oils. Because of this we decided to make soap the natural way.

Although we started making soap for our own family, we soon found that friends were interested too. We were surprised at how many people suffered from skin irritation. Everything has grown from there. People love our soap and they also feel good knowing how gentle and natural it really is.

All our soaps use quality olive and coconut oils; there are no colours and only essential oils for fragrance. We don’t believe it is important to add any unnecessary extras to our soap, and we think you will agree. We let the soap speak for itself.
